Three steps
- The warden or the teacher. Call the warden’s desk at any hour, or speak to the teacher on a Sunday. You receive a reply within two working days.
- The Campus Director. For a serious matter, or if the first step has not resolved it, write to the Campus Director. You receive an acknowledgement within two working days and a written reply within seven.
- The Director. If you are still not satisfied, write to Dr Varun Murthy, Director, at admissions@drvarunexamexcellence.com. You receive a written decision within fifteen working days. Where it helps, the Director convenes a small committee including a parent representative and a person from outside the Academy.
Ways to reach us

- The sealed complaint box outside the warden’s desk, for students and visitors, with or without a name.
- In person, every Sunday.
What you can expect
Every complaint is written down, given a number, and answered in writing. You are told what we found and what we have done. No student is treated differently because their parent complained.
Matters covered by other policies
Ragging, harm to a child, sexual harassment and questions about your information each have their own route and shorter timelines, set out in the anti-ragging, child protection, respect at work and privacy policies. You may also approach the police, the Child Welfare Committee, the Department of Pre-University Education or a consumer forum at any time.
